The cape of good vintage

I hope everybody had a Fabled Christmas! Hither'south an outfit worn a few days earlier Christmas that I've pre-scheduled to post on Boxing 24-hour interval. (So as I'm writing I haven't actually had the big day nonetheless – I'm coming to y'all from Christmas past. Or is it future…?) Are you lot all too full and sick of the sight of turkey and chocolates similar I am no doubt đŸ˜‰

The excitement of wearing something you bought ages and ages agone simply weren't able to vesture straight abroad (wedding dresses, winter coats bought in the summer auction, etc.) is unbelievable. Before Christmas I posted pictures of me finally wearing my vintage maxi brim, and today it's the turn of my vintage Irish wool cape. It was destiny, I tell y'all: the two of u.s. were meant to be together.

I visited Exeter's best vintage wearable store during a warm spell over iii months ago – the commencement time in absolutely ages – and saw this beautiful cape with attached scarf for simply twenty quid. 20 quid?!! I did wonder what on globe was incorrect with information technology because why would it even so be sitting there in the store at that price… Turned out it had come in that very morning the lady said, and so my little Irish dazzler decided to turn up a couple of hours earlier I got there and merely look patiently for me.

Destiny, I tell you, destiny.

Ring: Unknown (it's stretchy – perfect for fitting over gloves. I said I was bringing dorsum rings over leather gloves)
